The dynamics of a family reveals its strengths and weaknesses in the face of situations of crisis. The way a family deals with its difficulties and needs of

adaptations, inherent to different life cycles and challenges, can be both a factor

protective for substance use as a risk factor.

The protective factors are related to the parents' assertive way of communicating rules and values, emotional support and a sense of trust to their children. The risk factors include the lack of a model to support the above discourse, so the old popular saying “do what I say and not what I do” does not apply when it comes to preventing risky behavior.

strategies to face the difficulties that may be going through.

To do so, it proposes to look at all the family system without disregarding that each individual is unique and each perceives and feels in a certain way. Likewise, he realizes that each member has a lot to contribute to the understanding of his own family. In this family orchestra we are tuning instruments and developing skills.
