Theory of attachment is a model anchored in research developed by John Bowlby, which underlies several psychotherapeutic approaches for its conceptual and clinical consistency. The deeper knowledge of this model enables a better understanding of how initial experiences reverberate intra and interpersonal functioning throughout life, from cradle to tomb, as Bowlby said, and how we can use this understanding as powerful clinical tools.
