DBT CEFI currently has a team of trained professionals who offer a complete DBT program. In addition to individual therapy and psychiatric evaluation promotes extension courses and skill training groups that address: full awareness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, tolerance to malaise and radical acceptance.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) was developed by Marsha Linehan for the treatment of chronically suicidal patients diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (TPB). Effectively for TPB and also for other conditions in which emotional deregulation is present, as in the case of chemical dependency, bipolar disorder, depression, eating disorders and personality disorders, among others.

DBT combines elements of mindfulness, behavior analysis, cognitive therapy and dialectical philosophy in a highly structured therapeutic model that emphasizes and aims to balance acceptance and change in the promotion of a life that is worth living.
