Promotion for those who enroll in Karen Vogel's Self-Compassion Workshop
An event to learn the practice of self-pity. The workshop will be taught by the founder of the Brazilian Institute of Mindfulness and Compassion. Karen Vogel will show you how to improve the relationship we have with ourselves - this is the purpose of the so-called compassion science. She points out that "too much self-criticism, self-esteem issues, perfectionism, or high demands are just a few examples of how lack of self-pity impacts our emotions and causes us suffering. Self-pity has been the focus of many North American and English research on benefits of changing the way we treat ourselves, decreasing the tone of self-criticism and increasing self-care behaviors. "
Anyone who signs up by June 15 wins one of Karen's books. The event, on July 15 and 16, is for the general public. In addition to the concepts, the workshop will include exercises and experiences to reinforce learning.
