New Issue - Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention Program

People suffering from anxiety, compulsions, day-to-day reactivity, smoking, and substance dependence can benefit greatly from the work done in the Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention Program. Mindfulness is defined as a process in which we bring attention to the present moment, being aware of what goes on in our body, our mind and our emotions without reactivity. This program combines mindfulness meditation practices with elements of cognitive therapy, relapse prevention, and impulse control. Meet the instructors:
Angelica Nickel Adamoli - Degree in Physical Education and PhD student in Clinical Psychology. He is trained in the Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention Model for Addictive Behaviors and is in training in the Neurocognitive Model with an emphasis on the practice of Mindfulness in Motion (King's College London, UK). Professor of Physical Education at the Hospital de Clinicas de Porto Alegre, where she develops assistance, teaching and research activities in the area of ​​integral attention to drug users and health. Breno Irigoyen de Freitas - Psychologist, Specialist in Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies in Childhood and Adolescence and Master in Clinical Psychology. Has training in the Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention Model for Additive Behaviors, is in training in the Neurocognitive Model with an emphasis on the practice of Mindfulness in Motion (King's College London, UK). He is a supervisor of the SENTE Socio-Emotional Education and Mindfulness Program in public schools and acts as a clinical psychologist.
