The course aims to improve and deepen the systemic therapist's skills in the face of challenging processes, such as. Management in the first session of systemic therapy, Unspoken issues: bureaucracy, handling controversial cases and the protection of the therapist in these cases, Systemic techniques and how to use them in care, Transferable skills and the work of the Therapist's Self, managing personal beliefs in care.

Through the different topics covered in the practice of the systemic therapist - Management in the first session of systemic therapy, Unspoken issues: bureaucracy, handling controversial cases and the protection of the therapist in these cases, Systemic techniques and how to use them in care, Transferable skills and the work of the Therapist's Self, managing personal beliefs in care - the course seeks to qualify the student theoretically-technically on different managements that affect their clinical practice, building a space for the development of skills and safety and interaction with other professionals who are interested in the area. The challenges faced by the controversies within each theme will be taken into account, targeting students and professionals interested in the Therapist's skills in Practice.

General Objective:

Methodology

  • Hybrid course with lectures, case discussions, experiences and work in small groups.

Differentials

CEFI is a reference place for mental health professionals within Systemic Therapy and with extensive experience in marital care. Within the SYS Center, we have qualified professionals in the topics covered. Participants in this course will be able to develop their knowledge on various topics that enrich and ensure the therapist's skills, such as Management in the first session, what is left unsaid (bureaucracies, handling controversial cases and the protection of the therapist in these cases), systemic techniques and how to use them in care, transferable skills and the therapist's self-work (managing personal beliefs in care). In the Course, themes will be integrated with clinical practice through cases and an updated theoretical framework.
