Nutrition as a source of living

Every month of August, contrary to the analogies of "bad luck" this month, I remember unforgettable moments of my professional career. And in this August, especially, I remembered one of the most special moments lived to the exact 15 years ago, my graduation.

It is in August also that we celebrate the nutritionist day, this profession that is based on life and that makes the food source of the body and reconnects us with nature , when it makes us realize that all The food we need most come from her .
There are 15 years nourishing lives. It is 15 years updating and developing, every day more, skills to understand everything that involves the process of food choice. I always understood the food beyond the body, and this need to deliver "something more" was, over the years of clinical practice, getting more and more clear to me.
It's not just about "prescribing diets", it's about delivering life. Expand the repertoire, discover the wonderful world of food without discarding absolutely no possibility, and in the same proportion, meet the therapeutic demand of my patients.
Whenever I receive a patient I give more than information that could nourish your body, more than a diet: I deliver listening, kindness, motivation, acceptance and clarity on a more human nutrition that can accommodate life and food routine of the reality of the patient, without stiffness, with love.
Nutrition is about saying what we need to eat to nourish life. It is about nourishing the soul with good thoughts. It is about understanding the emotions, and the nuances that prevent me from making good food choices. It is nourishing the soul with the pleasure of eating, but also reminds of the small pleasures of life, so that the food is not the only source of joy. Nourishing lives is nourishing hope, is to believe in sustainability, is to see nature as a source of life, is to reconnect with the essence.
I am happy and very grateful to have you with me nutrition.
Congratulations to all my colleagues of profession, which together we can make our mission a mission of love, nourishing body, mind and spirit - this beautiful breath that is life.
