Workshop on Suicide Interventions: Risk, Treatment and Grant

Great opportunity for healthcare professionals and students! On May 23rd, CEFI will hold the Workshop on Suicide Interventions: Risk, Treatment and Grant. General concepts about working on the phenomenon of suicide in its different moments will be discussed: ideation, attempt and consummate suicide. In the first part, an intervention model for the risk and treatment of patients with suicidal ideation and attempted suicide will be presented.
In the second part, a guide to follow after a patient's suicide will be provided, both for the approach to suicide. family, as with the therapist's clinical and personal considerations regarding a patient's suicide. The event will be hosted by international guest José Ignacio

Cruz Gaitán - professor at the University Center for Health Sciences and coordinator of the Mourning Clinic at the University of Guadalajara, author of several articles on suicide and the complicated mourning therapy manual: contextual behavioral treatment.
