International Workshop: Functional Analytical Psychotherapy (FAP) - Empowering Social Connection through Therapeutic Relationship

It is with great honor that CEFI and CIPCO promote the International Workshop: Functional Analytical Psychotherapy (FAP) - Empowering Social Connection through Therapeutic Relationship, led by Professor Jonathan Kanter, Ph.D, (USA), who is Director from the Center for Social Connection Science (CSSC) and professor of FAP Term at the Department of Psychology at the University of Washington.

The workshop will address Functional Analytical Psychotherapy (FAP) which is a contextual behavioral therapy approach that enables professionals to be trained in the effective use of the therapeutic relationship. Over the past 10 years, Dr. Kanter's research lab has produced promising new cutting-edge scientific findings on how to improve social connection and empower therapists to help their clients with FAP. The meeting will be predominantly experiential and participants will practice social connection skills and will be presented with a new, concrete and FAP-based approach that is easy to apply to our clinical practice.
