Robert A. Neimeyer confirmed at CEFI Congress 2019
It is with great honor that CEFI announces the presence of Robert A. Neimeyer, Ph.D., at the 2nd Edition of the CEFI Congress - Integrating Different Approaches. The University of Memphis Department of Psychology professor also serves as director of the Portland Institute for Loss and Transition, which offers training and certification in grief therapy. He has authored 30 books, including a series of volumes on Therapy and Mourning Techniques and the Expressive Arts, the latter with Barbara Thompson. Author of nearly 500 articles and book chapters, he is currently working to promote a more appropriate theory of grief as a meaning-making process, both in his published work and in his frequent professional workshops for national and international audiences.
