Program for another CEFI workshop - Therapeutic Instruments for Exaggerated Disorders
The Workshop will be a training on the use of therapeutic tools developed by Psychologist Renata Brasil Araujo for Exaggeration Disorders. She explains that the term Exaggeration Disorders refers to individuals who have exaggerated behaviors regarding drugs, gambling, food, shopping, the Internet, etc. The trained instruments will be the Motivation Deck, the Exaggerated Beliefs Puzzle and the Exaggeration Deck. Renata says they are games that aim to develop motivation to change exaggerated behavior, identify patients' exaggerated beliefs and prevent relapses, issues considered to be paramount in treatment.
