New Course - Classroom Neuroscience - Cognition, Emotion, and Behavior
Better understand how the brain works to qualify teaching. From August, CEFI will offer the new continuing education course for educators - neuroscience in the classroom - cognition, emotion and behavior. It is an opportunity to broaden knowledge of neuroscience and behavioral science. Among the contents the courses are:
- Brain neurobiology
- Foundations of behavioral science
- Emotions in the classroom
- Introduction to self-regulation: biosocial theory and emotional regulation
- Self-regulation strategies: emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness
- Self-Regulation Strategies: Validation
The course will be taught by teacher and doctor Daniela Martí Barros. Participants include: undergraduates, postgraduates, teachers, directors, coordinators, managers and other professionals related to basic education; and related areas (psychology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, among others).
