Open Enrollment for Specialization in Contextual Behavior Therapies
Ready to work with one of the fastest growing therapies in recent years? CEFI is a pioneer in the introduction of Contextual or 3rd Generation Behavior Therapies in Brazil. The 7th class of the course starts in March and is aimed at psychologists and psychiatrists.
This approach proposes the reconstruction of the patient's life horizon from the acceptance of suffering and the search for its values, using strategies of contextual change and experiential The therapeutic relationship is seen as the main tool for change. There are 460 hours / class where content will be presented as:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Functional Analytical Psychotherapy (FAP) - Behavior Analysis
- Therapies based in Mindfulness
- Compassion Therapy
- Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Behavioral Activation
- Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT)
The course is run by Dr. Fabián Olaz - PhD in Psychology and Adjunct Professor of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapies, Researcher and Director of the Interpersonal Behavior Laboratory at the Faculty of Psychology of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. The students of the course receive certification from MEC (for which specialization takes place), CEFI - Center for Family and Individual Studies (Porto Alegre, Brazil) and CIPCO - Integral Center for Contextual Psychotherapies (Cordoba, Argentina).
