This marathon aims to introduce an integrated way the theory and practice of dialectical behavioral skill training (DBT) in different populations. Skill training applications will be discussed for: adults, adolescents, families and health professionals.
This marathon proposes to present and discuss the theoretical basis of dialectical behavioral therapy, as well as the training of DBT skills as intervention in different populations, clinics and non -clinics. Learning will take place from the theory scope of the theory proposed by Marsha Linehan and the practice of the team with training in the area. The various DBT training will be addressed that the CEFI DBT Nucleus works, such as adolescents, family, health professionals, and adults.
General Objective:
acquire knowledge about DBT, understand the operation of skill training and its different applications.
Specific Objectives:
Understand the theoretical basis of DBT;
Know the proposals for DBT skills training in the contexts of adolescents, families, health professionals and adults;
Access reports of experiences and the peculiarities of work with the different audiences served;
Know the Skill Training Methodology and its Worked Themes;
Understand the practice of skill training with various populations.
The marathon proposes to be an expository-dialogue space, in which visual materials will be presented and experiences will be discussed, with the possibility of clarifying doubts about the proposed topics.
CEFI is currently a recognized DBT treatment center, in which qualified professionals coordinate the various skill training, as well as having a specialized clinical staff that is constantly updated with international experts;
People who have indication to perform DBT training can better understand proposals and ask questions;
professionals who are interested in DBT will have access to qualified content and consistent and consistent experiences with theory.
