Cuiabá - inaugural CBT class will be with Carmen Beatriz Neufeld

CEFI is very pleased to announce guest professor Carmen Beatriz Neufeld for the inaugural CCT class on June 8th. Carmen holds a postdoctoral degree in psychology from UFRJ and a doctorate degree in psychology and a master's degree in social and personality psychology from PUCRS. She is a professor and coordinator of USP's Cognitive Behavioral Research and Intervention Laboratory and vice president of the Latin American Association of Cognitive Psychotherapies (ALAPCO).

The course starts in May and is MEC certified. With a highly qualified faculty and extensive clinical experience, the graduate addresses concepts of CBT and the intervention techniques for mental disorders most commonly seen in the clinic. It is intended for psychologists and psychiatrists and in addition to lectures, offers discussion and supervision of clinical cases.
