Human relations are constantly transformed, reflecting social, cultural and individual changes. Among these transformations arise practices and arrangements that break with traditional molds, such as non-monogamies and other ways of experiencing intimate and affective bonds. For psychotherapists, understanding these relational diversity is essential to offer an ethical, welcoming and sensitive care to the needs of each individual. The workshop new challenges in the clinic: non-monogamies and other relational diversity proposes a space for learning and reflection on these topics. From a theoretical and practical approach, the course seeks to contextualize the different ways of relating, explore its impacts on mental health and provide tools to deal with these demands on the clinical environment.
