Mourning process in different scenarios

Who works with the promotion of life inevitably faces people who are dealing with some kind of loss. Knowing the mourning process, therefore, enables the professional in the development of fundamental competences for interventions in different situations of mourning. The course is proposed to provide theoretical knowledge to professionals in various areas of health on the theme of the advent of death, instrumentalizing them for an appropriate understanding and approach.

One of the greatest challenges of the human being is to face the reality of death, conceptualize it and live with its existence, as much as it seeks philosophical, psychological, physiological, cultural, or many other forms of confrontation. Although there is vast literature on the subject, speaking of death is still prohibited, heavy and avoided. The Improvement Course: The mourning process in an integrated perspective is born of the growing need for professionals from various areas to deal more consciously, empathically and qualified with the experiences of loss experienced by people who accompany and care.

The course seeks to offer solid and sensitive training through an institution with more than XX years of experience at work with mourning and teachers with various training and experiences so that the professional understands the grief in their multiple dimensions. It proposes an integrated and updated view that considers the cultural, subjective, symbolic and relational aspects of mourning. The proposal is to expand the look, develop empathic listening and instrumentalize the professional so that he can welcome suffering with respect, ethics and presence.
