This is Brazil's first graduate course in Food Balance with an emphasis on Contextual Behavioral Therapies with supervised practical internship. With a team of highly qualified teachers, including international ones.

The specialization aims to provide theoretical and practical training to work in the clinical area, providing practical assisted and guided experiences in the context of eating behavior. Many professionals have faced the challenge of therapeutic effectiveness based on the prescription of an eating plan. The course brings important concepts for a more humane and contextual approach and to assist in behavioral aspects that involve a more conscious food choice and based on the values of each person.


Behavior itself is the interaction of many variables in which impulses and predispositions for behavior stand out and which are determined through eating habits. These depend a lot on what we believe we know about food, achieved through our experiences and learning processes. The ability to change these habits is studied and is related to several areas of professional practice in the health field.

We believe that expanding knowledge enables a more effective behavioral approach to food balance. In addition, it adds value to the work of the professional who needs tools to facilitate changes in the patient's relationship with food. The objective of this postgraduate course is to present professional training tools, both in the applicability of innovative techniques for behavioral approach, as well as to qualify the therapist's self for health within the most varied market needs, such as marketing and accounting for independent professionals and health. In addition to bringing an innovative theme: sustainability as a tool in the therapeutic process - a concept that adds value to the approach to health.

Finally, our main objective is to train the therapist for an efficient and referenced contextual approach, aiming at qualification in the therapeutic process and professional updating focused on the eating behavior and the job market of health professionals.

Title Specialist in Food Balance r Face-to-face format: theoretical content + Course conclusion work + attendance practice and case study supervision. Location: CEFI - Center for Family and Individual Studies. Porto Alegre, RS.

Title Improvement Remote mode : Theoretical content, online mode via the ZOOM platform.
