The program offers innovative training, networking and support to professionals committed to excellence in services offered in clinical sexology and sexuality. The experience offers intensive learning, interaction with renowned professionals, support for plans and career projects, and cultural experiences for health professionals. For a week we will develop a robust schedule that mixes theoretical classes, workshops, clinical practices and other immersive activities in the context of human sexuality, sexology and gender studies.

Activities include classes taught by teachers and doctoral teachers (ES), with worldwide recognition for the impact of their research and work on the area. Essential and current topics will be addressed, promoting debates that expand the view on the most advanced challenges and practices of clinical sexology and sexuality. Theoretical discussions are also connected with clinical practices, where it will be possible to discuss clinical cases and intervention techniques of both participants and the team of professionals at the University of Porto.

In addition to classes, there will also be experiences at Sexlab, knowing your daily life, an excellence center at the University of Porto, an international reference in research. Visits include the observation of scientific research activities, discussions of the methodologies used, the knowledge and experimentation of laboratory equipment resources, their uses, and the integration with the multidisciplinary team that leads high complex studies.

The program also values body and intercultural experiences. Participants will be able to explore the relationship between body, sexuality and expression through activities such as dance and body awareness movements. These dynamics complement the theoretical and practical aspects, providing broad learning.

In the last two days, the course connects to the Portuguese Society of Clinical Sexology Society, an event that brings together national and international professionals, for workshops, conferences and roundtables. At this meeting, participants will have contact with avant -garde themes and will be able to discuss the most relevant challenges for practice and research in the area of sexuality and the genre.

Finally, the program includes moments of cultural immersion, allowing you to know the richness of the Portuguese context and experience integration between various cultural perspectives.

This course is a unique opportunity to delve into academic and clinical knowledge as experiences that enrich vocational and personal training.
