Psychological Assessment is a process of gathering and analyzing information about a person. It aims to identify potentialities and areas of vulnerability in the individual (child, adult, elderly), test clinical hypotheses and present directions for treatment.
Allows better understanding of the individual at the time of the assessment, identifying their psychic conditions. This is a time-limited procedure, averaging 10 sessions, including reporting results to the patient and / or requesting professional.
The service offered by CEFI involves evaluation in the clinical area, also called psychodiagnosis as well as professional guidance. Psychological Assessment is performed by a team of qualified psychologists with experience in the area. The work developed may help to find directions to initiate psychotherapy, understand the factors associated with psychological distress, identify potentialities, weaknesses and develop strategies to better deal with challenges.
