Cognitive Behavioral Therapy was developed in the 1960s by Aaron Beck and has among its assumptions that thinking influences how we feel and how we behave, so the main focus is on correcting cognitive distortions.
It is a very useful conceptualization and treatment model for professionals who provide clinical / psychotherapeutic care.
Promote the learning of conceptual aspects of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Model, as well as intervention techniques in Mental Disorders most commonly seen in the clinic.
